I have been thinking a lot about the recent comments I recieved from what seem to have been "heated" topics. I could agree to disagree, but I have decided that I will continue to defend the faith, especially with all the lies that seem to be "worming" their way into the church.
  • "urging you to defend the faith that God has entrusted once for all time to his holy people. I say this because some ungodly people have wormed there way into your churches...And you must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering. Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgement. Show mercy to still others , but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate thier lives." Jude 3-4 & 22-23
My deep longing in starting this blog in the first place was to preach Christ and make Him known. And we know Him by reading His word.
  • "All scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it (scripture) to prepare us and equip us to do every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16
As I write, it is never my intention to condemn. On the contrary, I want my readers to experience, and more than that, know that the Word is alive and active and through the living word we come to know our Lord more and more.
In Mark 12:24, as Jesus was speaking to the Sadducees ("they are sad you see"), He spoke this,
  • "Your mistake is that you don't know the Scriptures, and you don't know the power of God."
Let us not make this same "mistake." Remembering what Hebrews says,
  • "unlike the saints of old, We have recieved all that God has promised." 11:39

Ephesians 4:1-7
As a prisoner for the lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirt through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirt--just as you were called to one hope when you were called--one Lord, one faith, one babtism; one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.

I read this to my family when we were resting at a beutiful lake in the Eddy Mountains!!!
The Word is so beautiful & Summer for as long as I have known you & Zane we could feel God has gifted you both with the ability to teach & lead others to the Truth God desires us to know. I feel so inspired by what you Blog & feel that it is words God means us to learn.
