Weekend visitor!

I rarely share what I do outside of the home--and that is because 95% of my time is spent ministering to my children.  However, a few hours a week I bike across the river to an orphanage, the one that used to care for our son Ethan.  I spend time lovin' on the children, encouraging the staff and taking care of medical needs when they arise {which is often}.

Over the course of the past few months I have fallen in love with Regan.  And who would have known that he is the actual, biological cousin of our two boys Ethan and Elijah {Regan's birthfather is the brother of Elijah and Ethans birthmother}. And although Regan's birthfather is still alive he is incapable of caring for his son due to his choice to live a sinful lifestyle.  The uncle, who is a soldier, would be willing to take Regan, however, he knows that his wife would mistreat the child if he brought him home {a norm in this culture}.

With that said, Regan spent the weekend with us!  How fun--and what is one more when you already have eleven?!  He is a delightful little boy {quiet and shy}.  Please pray with us as we seek the Lords perfect will concerning Regan--if we are to become his parents. As for now, he is going to be spending weekends with us.

What a precious face with a story that has God's fingerprints all over it. I'll be praying for wisdom and peace as you seek God's will for Regan and your family.

I just love watching God at work in your lives.

Praying for you to proclaim the truth, and that you will proclaim it boldly as you ought.

It is the THRUTH that sets us free, people need freedom.

Bring the LIGHT into the darkness Summer.

He who has called you is faithful.

Keep on living to please Him.

Though all forsake you, He never will.

What else matters but that?

The creator of all the universe is on your side.

If He gives you words to speak, then how can you not but speak of what you have seen and heard?

You are in my prayers.

He is so cute:) I pray God's will would be done in Reagan's life...and yours.

It's wonderful to meet someone who has a heart to adopt children, regardless of family size. Your family is beautiful!

I pray God would continue to be glorified through your lives...and touch others also.

Many blessings,

PS. Please keep posting prayer requests:) It's good to know how to pray for you.

summer, if we all could have a portion of the heart you and your family do for the world... it would be amazing. i pray for you and your choices, but i am going to sound a little selfish when i say- i pray MORE for my heart and my family to open up more for the orphan!! thanks for keeping our eyes on what is truly important.
