"The call of God is like the call of the sea-no one hears it except the person that has the nature of the sea in him." Oswald Chambers

Resting in the Lords call today.

Yesterday was good--despite the times of intense pain and bone deep fatigue--because God is good. I am trying to plan my days, being that I will probably be in bed for the rest of the month. I wake up with just enough energy to take a hot shower-which feels wonderful. I take my thyroid medication and wait 30 minutes for it to take effect. Then I take the first three pills of my antibiotic treatment. I wait another hour before eating. Then I get breakfast in bed from my amazing husband. After eating, my oldest daughter comes in for homeschool lessons--we have found a few amazing websites that she loves. Today little man E sat next to me and cuddled. He even leaned over and gave me a kiss out of the blue (the highlight of my morning). It is now 11:30 am and I need a rest. The kids are playing happily together and every once in a while one of them will run into my room and give me a squeeze/kiss. They are the best therapy!

Hey Summer! I have been following your blog since I got back from Uganda. I have been praying for you and your family. Your heart for Jesus and for Uganda encourages me. I will continue to pray for your health and for God's protection the next month and half.

This is my first time here, but sending a hug and praying for God to bring healing to you and to your family. I am trusting you and yours into His hands, for after all we are family and we need each other.

May God continue to use your family to encourage you as you rest up and regain strength in your body. May His touch cover you from head to toe and bring a healing restoration that could only come from His throne.

bless you sweet sister;
