"But so....

the world may know that I love the Father, I do EXACTLY as the Father commands me."
John 14:31

Is it not so wonderful that the Word of God is living and active?!. The above verse freed me, lifted me up and spurred me on. And then today the enemy took me off guard and fear became all consuming. Mind you, the fear only lasted 5 minutes, but it was crippling nonetheless. Our lawyers are great but they seem to always slip in comments about how they do not believe the judge will grant us guardianship because of the size of our family. There is an evil lie that the local people (government official included) believe that all "Westerners" adopt with the intent to make the children into slaves--they can not wrap their minds around the love that one can have for a child that is not biological. So, instead of trying to understand, they become tools of the enemy.

I shared my fears with my awesome husband and he looked at me and said, "we are building a boat and the Lord is the chief carpenter. Let man say what he wants because the Lord's plans will prevail." I am so blessed that God put the life of Noah in His "living and active Word."

And so, we will not stop building, despite the jeers of man.

The world will know that "I love the Father because I am doing what He has commanded me to do!"

A really BIG P.S. We are in the process of bringing Jack home!

Summer - I hear you on this matter. Not the African official part (yet) but on the little jabs from satan that hold nothing but lies. I am so thankful for my hubby to come along side me and help me to focus - we are blessed with awesome men. I am so excited about you loving on Jack - how is he doing now? Justin said a lot of the babies are sick right now. You were saying you were having the baby itch!:)

Hi I am a follower of your blog and I just LOVE what you are doing for God's kingdom. We are considering adoption and I just posted it on my blog and was wondering if you get a chance if you don't mind maybe sharing a little bit about your adoption journey in the comment section of the post titled adoption. I'd love to hear your story. If not can I share the link to your blog with my readers?
thank you~Bridget
