He is for us.

It is that time again....heading off to high court for the 4th time! We have a new lawyer this time around--and trust that he will be prepared. Do pray with us that all the paperwork will be in order and that the Lord will give the lawyer wisdom to answer whatever questions the judge may have. The difference with this trip to HC is that both Ethan and Elyssa have living relatives that have constented to us becoming the childrens legal guardians. Although Ethan is a total orphan (both parents are dead) he has an uncle and a clan/tribe that are unable to care for him. As for Elyssa, her birth father will be present with us at court. He has consented before the lower courts to hand over all of his rights to us and thus far he has been humbly compliant. Please pray that Elyssa's birth father will show up at our home on time early tomorrow morning--we will head out at 6am Wednesday (that is 8pm, Tuesday West Coast time). The remaining five kids will go to a close friends house in the city and we will meet the lawyer an hour early at HC, before the hearing. I cling to this promise,

"if God is for us, who can be against us?"

I will stand with you in prayer! "He who raised up the Lord Jesus will raise me up also with Jesus and bring me into His presence. For all these things are taking place for my sake, so that the more grace extends to more and more people and multiplies through the many, the more thanksgiving may increase to the glory of God." 2 Cor. 4:14-15 May His divine favor simply overwhelm you with goodness tomorrow!

Blessings from this missionary mommy,
Sarah Dawn
