Hope in pain
This will be quick as I am just back from a week in the hospital. Yes, you read that correctly. I am still in Kenya. The day after I returned home from the initial hospital stay I was re-admitted on an emergency basis. The week was filled with pain, surgery, a lot of scopes, a battery of tests and a lot of wondering...I am now healing from the surgery--if you want to know the details feel free to email me at mccourtney3@yahoo.com, but I would rather not share over the worldwide web :-). So far the doctors are saying that the emergency surgery was due to medical complications of having weak vains/blood vesells. I am now on medication to improve this condition. I will return to Kenya in two weeks for the final results from the endoscopy and colonoscopy. Please pray for a complete healing--this is the second time I have had this paticular surgery, however, this time it was much worse and like I said, an emergency! Also, my husband flew out to be with me and the kids remained home with some wonderful friends. We fly back in 72 hours--yeah. This mommy misses her lambs. I have just been knowing something has not been right since you have been MIA. I am so sorry for all you are going through. Praying for healing.
Oh my goodness---trusting with you for complete healing! Thank you for the update, what a rough few weeks you have had.
Can't wait for you to get your hands on your babies - that will, for sure, speedy the healing!

I was strating to get a little worried since you had not updated. I hope you will be on the mend soon, and you are still in my prayers ;)
I will keep praying for a full recovery for you. I can't imagine how hard it is, not only physically but emotionally - especially being away from your precious children.
