I love my family!

This is our newest family photo. And although the number of kids may change over the course of the next year, we will enjoy this picture for now!
I love my family.

What a blessing to be part of the bigger "picture."

Beautiful. So, so beautiful.
Such a bright Lighthouse for the people of Africa to turn to for hope and example. The love of our Savior just radiates from your family.
God bless you guys SO MUCH for 'pleading the cause of the orphan', as you write. He doesn't call the equipped, He equips the called.

I love the pictures and your guys' story in Christ!

My sister and her husband are going through the hoop jumping in the American system to adopt. They are currently doing foster care, pouring out their whole hearts into the little ones they've been entrusted with as though they were their own, even though it will break their hearts if they are taken away. They are trusting that whatever time they have with these little ones is a time to plant love in their hearts and they are just praying and trusting God for these kids' futures.

Their story and yours, both make me realize the importance of being poured out like an offering to God on the altar of my kids' lives. I don't know how long I have to plant in their hearts, and I may not have orphans to love in this home, but I have two boys who would be orphaned if I didn't do what God has entrusted me to do.

You and your family shine (and my sister too) and your light reaches past Africa... all the way to a little housewife in Arizona!

Praying for you and my sister this morning!
Sheila
