To whom are you listening to?

"Never ask another person's advice about anything God makes you decide before Him.  If you ask advice, you will almost always side with satan."..." I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood..." (Galatians 1:16)."
Oswald Chambers

If we were to have listened to the advice of those around us, we would not be the parents of at least half of our precious children.

*like this handsome boy*
I am so glad that the Lord honors those that fear HIM!

AMEN!
My son and I just read the other day in our devotional (Extreme Devotion) about a man who lived around 1730. He wanted to sell himself as a slave so that he could work and live along side the slaves in the Virgin Islands and share Jesus with them... His friends (including Christians) all thought he had lost his mind and that no way would God have him do that... well he did! At one point he was working in the Governor's house and he felt he was too far removed from the other slaves so he went back into the fields with them. In only 3 years 13,000 people who were enslaved became free in Christ Jesus! They received their salvation and were born again! God's ways don't always make sense to us but they are beautiful, wonderful, miraculous and good! And yes, sometimes very difficult but the outcome far out ways the sacrifices. I am glad you listened to God and not man.

Or ours - few and I mean few said "Go with God!" Even well meaning Christians said not to. So glad that the Lord just kept confirming! God is so good! Each of your babies are so beautiful!

Very true!! I could say the samething about our family size and adoptions!

This post was just what I needed to read. I actually did run around this weekend asking advice about something I already had peace befor God about and things got pretty messy. I should have just trusted what I was hearing from God in the first place.
