v. 2 "Has the Lord Redeemed you? Then speak out!"
Let us as beleivers keep silent no more. May we, like Jesus, speak God's truth to a lost and dying generation.
v.11 "They scourned the counsel of the Most High God."
How often do we seek wordly counsel and wisdom before we seek the Word? Let us first go to THE COUNSELOR, the Maker of heaven and earth. The one who searches the deep things of our hearts.
v. 13 "Lord help! And He led them from darkness and deepest gloom; He snapped their chains."
This verse brings me hope. We have the promise that, "those who call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Now if that isn's reason to "speak out."
v. 20 "He sent His Word and healed them."
How many Christians have bought into the lie that "good works is enough" and that there is no need for the Word. Remember, even the demons believe and tremble. Let us, again, speak out the Word that heals.
v. 43 "Those who are wise will take all of this to heart; they will see in our history and the failthful love of the Lord."
I pray that the generation after us will "see our history" and know that the love of the Lord is faithful.
*Side note*
This afternoon at lunch time the children and I got into a conversation about Balaam and his donkey. My husband said that he once heard a pastor teach about how foolish Balaam was to threaten to kill his donkey, for imagine how much money he could have gotten for a talking donkey! I then added, if Balaam was foolish for not listening to a talking donkey, we as believers must be extra foolish, as we have the "full counsel" of God''s word, and yet like Balaam, we do not listen.

So true Summer!! We have the living word and yet far too often ignore it and seek worldly counsel. Also true that many christian believe that "good works is enough". I have even heard christians say that God forgives everyone and even an atheist can get into heaven without repenting. Blew me away when I heard that one.
So often times the Word is misinterpreted and we pick and chose the versus that fit our life style rather than conform to the Word of God.

Oh how I share your heart for the lost.... May God give us the spirit of boldness to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. May we turn to Jesus for our every need.
