"The land yet to be conquered"

"When Joshua was an old man, the Lord said to Him, "You are growing old, and much land remains to be conquered. This is the territory that remains..."

O', the "land" that remains to be conquered here, and around the world. These precious children, labeled as unwanted and orphaned, are souls to be conquered for Christ. Let us go out, like Joshua and Caleb,

"I was forty years old when Moses, the servant of the Lord, sent me to explore the land of Canaan. I returned and gave an honest report, but my brothers who were with me frightened the people from entering the Promised Land. For my part, I wholeheartedly followed the Lord my God."

How many of us, myself included, have been called by the Lord to "conquer" these precious souls but allow other peoples fears to keep us from the Promise? When we have purposed to follow the Lord wholeheartedly.

Let us hold onto the Lord's calling,

"Now, as you can see, the Lord has kept me alive and well as he promised for all these forty five years since Moses made this promise-even while Isreal wandered in the wildnerness. Today I am eighty-five years old. I am as strong now as I was when Moses sent me on that journey, and I can still travel and fight as well as I could then. So give me the hill country that the Lord promised me. You will remember the scouts we found the descendents of Anak living there in great, walled towns. But if the Lord is with me, I will drive them out of the land, just as the Lord said....And the land was at rest from war."

God has given us each a promise as we are used by Him to "fight" for souls. The Lord is with us to "drive out" the enemy as we journey into the "hill country." And when we enter the land, we will find rest in Christ alone.

What "land" has the Lord asked you to go in and conquer? Maybe you have not stepped out to begin the journey. Or, you have begun to explore the land but have allowed other peoples fears to keep you from the promise?

But like Joshua and Caleb, may we hold onto the Promise, and conquer the "land" and the "territory" that remains throughout the world. Precious souls.

We are going. I haven't put anything on my blog yet, as I haven't told my family (which is my biggest fear)and can't right now as they are on vacation. But we will be moving to Livingstone, Zambia to rescue the orphan souls. I am so excited, although a little afraid, but I know my God is bigger than my fears.

Thanks Summer for encouraging us all to go wherever He is leading.
