As I sat at the clinic with my friend on Monday, Enoch played happily on my lap--did I mention he is the easiest baby? A very sick woman and her husband walked in and sat down near us. Fifteen minutes later she looked over at us and said very excitedly, "is that Jack?" She went on to tell me that she had been volunteering at the orphanage the day that Jack was brought in. He was so scared that he refused to eat or sleep. This woman had held him in her arms for two days and prayed that a family would adopt this precious little baby boy. If I had not surrendered and gone to the clinic this woman would have not been blessed to see the answer to her prayer--and who knows, maybe the Lord asked me to go just to let this woman see that indeed God answers prayers and loves His children!

The surrendered life...allowing the Kingdom to touch the lives of others.

Little Enoch, love the name by the way :) God truly delights to speak to us, to encourage us along the way and to show us that our prayers truly have power. You listened, you went, you blessed a dear woman with a gift that no one can take away.

Oh, goodness, I wish I could just hug you today.

Besitos (little kisses in SPanish),
