8 Things I look forward too...
~~~ Heaven.
~~~ When we become the legal adoptive parents of our five Ugandan children--right now we are legal guardians so they still are not US citizens with our last name.
~~~ When all my kids are following wholeheartedly after Jesus Christ!
~~~ Visiting Oregon in the fall.
~~~ Sitting down with a good cup of coffee and long time friends.
~~~ Becoming a gentle and quiet pastor's wife.
~~~ Being less in battle with the flesh.
~~~ More kids!
8 Things I did yesterday...
~~~ Awakened out of a lovely deep slumber by a three year old saying, "mommy, please come wipe me."
~~~ Drank yummy Ugandan coffee.
~~~ Had "M" day with the little ones, M is for Mop.
~~~ Went to see the probation/social welfare officer, again!
~~~ Made Indian food for friends that we had over for dinner--Beef Curry, lentils, sweet lassies, papadon and cardamon cookies.
~~~ Played "the one legged kangaroo" with my kids. I made it up.
~~~ Added to the mound of clean laundry laying on my bed.
~~~ Enjoyed the lovely Ugandan sunshine.
8 Things I wish I could do...
~~~ Walk in the Spirit, all the time.
~~~ Become mommy to five more orphans.
~~~ Play the guitar, for real.
~~~ Be transported to Oregon, to be with family, whenever it is a holiday.
~~~ Make sure that all the orphans in the world would find loving, Christian homes.
~~~ Raise my kids on a farm.
~~~ Gain weight.
~~~ Know that my children's names will be written in the "Lamb's Book of Life."
8 Shows I watch...
*We do not have a TV so I will share movies.
~~~ The Last Sin Eater
~~~ All the Love Comes Softly movies.
~~~ August Rush (I just saw this and loved it, despite the mistake his parents made)
~~~ Anne of Green Gables
~~~ Fireproof
~~~ Nacho Libre' (call me a nut)
~~~ The Nativity Story
Oh my goodness, I totally forgot about the Love Comes Softly movies--I LOVED all three. And August Rush--brilliant!
So, we both want to live on a farm and adopt all the orphans in the world :):):) We have much in common, friend!
are you from Oregon? We lived away for 3 years and I'm so glad to be back. Nowhere quite like it!
I hope you guys are having a great weekend ;)Are you actually coming home in the fall?
I LOVE your list!!! Neat.
Definitely would be fun to go for an even dozen [children]. ;-)
