"to Him who is able...

to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think." Ephesians 3:20
Ladies. I am asking that you pray for safety as I travel to Kenya tomorrow. The amazing husband will stay with the seven little ones while I undergo laproscopy at a hospital in Kenya. I am scheduled to be gone until Monday. Please pray for wisdom for the doctor, a conclusive report from the laproscopic procedure and peace while I am away from my family--this is a big one as I feel very guilty for leaving them.
P.S.I will try to keep you all updated. My first appointment is on Wednesday, a consultation, and the procedure will be done on Friday.

I will pray for you. Do not feel guilty. You can not care for them if you are in pain. You need to take care of your physical needs too. I hope that the procedure will go well :)

First, there is no reason to feel guilt. Guilt is the feeling we get when we are doing something wrong. Taking care of your health is not wrong. A father taking care of his children is not wrong. So, there is no reason to feel guilty for anything at all!!

Second, I'm praying that your trip is safe, productive and without any complications. I hope you come away with some answers and solutions.

Trusting with you that ALL will be well. Your kiddos will be just fine---they need a well mommy, so you go get the help you so need. You're actually doing them a huge favor by taking care of yourself. And besides, a little time with Daddy is so very good for them.
Standing with you. Try to keep us updated so that we can pray specifically.
