Yes, we do try to get back to SA as often as possible---now that our family has expanded, it is really hard financially though. The cost of airfares is just insane. But, I am going in April for my brothers wedding. I cannot wait---it has been two years since I was last 'home'.
Our hearts do long to go back, we long for the mission field. We have considered it so many times over the last few years, but God keeps us here. Part of that, we feel, was to adopt our Chinese daughters---but now we have no idea what He is going to do.
I don't know what Uganda is like, but SA has become ridiculously expensive. If we did go back, I guess my hubby would need a job there---to go back as missionaries and try and raise ALL the support from here, goodness, that would be tough. I know God could do it though---our hearts are open to whatever He wants. We really do love Africa.
I am praying for your little E. and that God would give you stamina as you train her in His ways.
