We truly belive that God's word speaks of keeping our eyes ahead--not looking back to the things of our past. We hold to this for our children, too. As we all know the enemy like us to find our identity in those things witch were done to us--abandonement, neglect, etc. Rather, we need to find our identity in Christ and what He says about us. "We are the children of God. He has bought us at a price. We are His."
"forgetting those things that are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead."
Phil. 3:13
Eliza's life is such a beautiul picture of this!
Just yesterday, as we were sitting around the table, she spoke up and said, "Mommy, we love Jesus!"
Eliza, as all my children, are new creations in Christ. And I am blessed to see the transformation.
