For the sake of "gathering"

I am pleading that you all continue to pray with me concerning the situation with Ethan. The care center in which he stays has proven to be corrupt and untrustworthy. The uncle, along with ourselves, have been told one lie after another. I called my probation officer for advice and she gave us one last option--have the uncle, who is the next of kin/legal guardian, obtain a letter from the local courts allowing him legal grounds to remove Ethan from the center. Although it is Chritsmas eve here tomorrow, the uncle is going to try and go to the court to see if he can get a letter.
A dear sister posted this poem on her blog...
I WOULD GATHER CHILDREN

Some would gather money
Along the path of life
Some would gather roses,
And rest from worldly strife.
But I would gather children
From among the thorns of sin,
I would seek a golden curl,
And a freckled, toothless grin.
For money cannot enter
In that land of endless day,
And roses that are gathered
Soon will wilt along the way.
But oh, the laughing children,
As I cross the sunset sea,
And the gates swing wide to heaven,
I can take them in with me!

Oh Summer, that poem is so true, so awesome....

Father God, We wrestle not against flesh and blood, and even those principalities and powers would have no power over us unless You permit it, so where does that leave us as we come boldly to your throne of grace to find help in this time of need for Ethan? It leaves us calling on the Only One who has the power to destroy the attempts of the enemy. We entrust this situation to You who judges justly, but like Esther, we come before our King of kings boldly, asking that You would send out Your decree from heaven that Ethan might be free to grow in the grace of Zane and Summer's house as You are present there!

Your will be done Father!
Amen
