The Red Sea remains open

"Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for your today...The Lord will fight for you and shall hold your peace." Exodus 14:13-14
I love that the Lord gave me the picture of the Red Sea when we began pursuing to adopt Ethan--time and time again it has given me hope, especially when it seemed that Pharoah was close behind!
To date, all we are waiting for is a letter from the chairman of the home that Ethan has been in--we have waited for this letter for over two weeks. Word last night is that the chairman arrived and is supposed to sign the letter today!
Because God is a God of miracles, Ethan could still be with us for Christmas...and so we "stand still."

Hi,
What a delight to get your comment...how did you find our blog?

Our Elijah and Elizabeth were from Sanyu Babies Home. I am guessing you have heard of it....they say it is one of the oldest homes with a good reputation. It is below Namirembe Guest House.

We just got home Thursday night. What an adventure.

I would love to hear more about your work there. Here is my email: APlaceCalledSimplicity@yahoo.com

Blessings from our home to yours,
Linny
