Give thanks with a grateful heart

This is a photo I took of our colorful meal. We typically eat very local--especially with 6 hungry mouths to feed. Here we had yellow lentils with fresh spinach and steamed pumpkin. The total price was .50 cents for the pumpkin, $1 for the lentils and .25 cents for the spinach. Thank God for living in a country so lush and bountiful with fresh, yuumy foods.

I don't know what happened! I was just reading your post on "Let me be a Moses" which rings AMEN in my soul, and then I clicked on it to leave a comment and it disappeared!!!

Well anyway, God speaks to me through Moses too. In fact when Ryland was born the Spirit specifically spoke to my heart to study Moses. He still continues to remind me (I so easily forget) that He partners with me for His holy work in my kids' lives. He reminds me that His law (Moses, the prophets) all speak of Jesus who resides in me and that it's imparting HIS word to my kids which keeps them until faith comes for them (Galatians 3:23-25).

I'm so thankful for God's word, and so in awe that He would use a dustball like me to keep souls for His glory.

praying for you
